  • 5,000 pedometers given free to Surrey residents (52% walked more as a result)
  • 71 Pedestrian Wayfinding signs installed
  • 17 pedestrian crossings and alleyways upgraded
  • 34 travel road shows
  • 450 people took part in eco-driving
  • 1383 people took part in The Travel Smart Challenge, 3779 miles cycled and 2699 miles walked
  • 1 new link road for Sheerwater
  • 656 new members of Surrey Liftshare
  • 8 electric vehicle charging points
  • 14 new car club vehicles
  • 1 Live Smart Information centre in Redhill
  • 31,767 people received bike training
  • 18km of new cycle routes installed
  • 14,000 people attended our cycle festivals
  • 3 folding bike hire stations established
  • 1358 new scooter and cycle parking spaces
  • 12 new pool bikes available to borrow
  • 3 signalised crossings for cyclists
  • 222 projects received money from our community funding programme (1001 people voted for them!)
